MEET DARLENE
Certified Qi Gong Expert, Pilates Trainer, & CPT
Darlene has been in the fitness industry for over 40 years. Her various certifications are through the Integral Institute of Qigong and Tai Chi IIQTC, Balance Body certification in Pilates (mat, reformer, Cadillac, barrel, and chair), and a Qigong Certification through Lee Holden.
She is an ACE certified personal trainer. and earned a Bachelor's (BS) in Psychology. When she was 20 years old she was in a very serious car accident. This influenced her focus on health and healing. She sought out various ways to heal her body and mind. She now practices mindfulness such as buddhistmeditation, Pilates, qigong, tai chi, breathwork, and yoga. This is all brought into her work.
Darlene's approach to health is a holistic one. She believes in working with the whole person, taking their complete lifestyle into account. This means that not only your physical state is important, but also that of mental and emotional states all in one. She encourages training connecting the mind, body, spirit, and nutrition all in a balanced lifestyle.
Her hobbies include hiking, a love of the outdoors, biking, traveling, and creating art!
